Boknes – A hidden paradise (part 2)

As mentioned in our first post about Boknes (destinations uncovered) this small coastal town of Boknes lies “nestled” away between Boesmans River / Kenton on Sea in the East and Cannon Rocks in the West. A sleepy little place out of holiday season, you are pretty much guaranteed to have the best fishing spots all to yourself for most of the year. Endless golden sandy beaches and rugged reefs are all found on this coastline and the opportunities for fishing here are endless.

Cannon Rocks – A quick visit to the hallowed grounds

Cannon Rocks fishing trip! The early winter season jitters had firmly taken hold of me. This is a feeling I have grown accustomed to while living down in the Western Cape. Here winter spells bad news for artificial-lure angling and a road-trip down to the Eastern Cape was required to suppress the looming feelings of insanity.
